As a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer, I have had the opportunity to design and perform various interconnection studies, including IFC electrical drawing package, for over 150 MW solar and energy storage projects from January 2022 to April 2023.
400 MW Solar/BESS/Wind Projects in Various States:
- Lead the commercial optimization efforts for solar and storage projects, with a focus on site grading, equipment selection, running PV layouts, and supporting production estimates.
- Work with cross-functional teams to bring solar and storage projects to inception, assess the design viability at every stage in the project’s life, and ensure that the project design is aligned with the commercial objectives.
- Select the optimal equipment and technology for the project, including solar panels, inverters, and batteries, based on their performance, cost, and reliability.
- Run PV layouts to optimize the system’s energy production and assess the project’s production estimates to ensure that they align with the commercial objectives.
- Optimize site grading to reduce construction costs and minimize the environmental impact of the project.
- Develop and optimize the project’s construction schedule to ensure that it is completed on time and within budget.
